COL. DR. LEWIS W. READ, NORRISTOWN, PA EPHEMERAL ARCHIVE, from the 1880s and 1890s, Dr. Read served as US Surgeon General and was involved with many national ceremonies. This lot contains many invitations and menus to official events including the 1886 Decoration of General Grant's Tomb, 1893 U. S. Grant Memorial Banquet, 1892 Dedication of the Buildings of the World's Columbian Exposition, etc. Also included are issues of the Tribe of Ismail, some correspondences, photos, etc..
