CIVIL WAR CDV IMAGES OF THE 7TH ILLINOIS CAVALRY, ALBUM OF 27 IMAGES, members of different companies, 26 are identified below the image and some are also identified on the reverse, one is identified on the album page only, two with Illinois photographer's imprints, album contains a few additional generic images. Along with research papers and two publications with published information. Third quarter 19th century. Images 4" x 2 1/2".
Provenance: Property of a Virginia collector.
Note: Twenty-two of these images of the "Prairie Horseman" were published in the {{North South Trader's Civil War}} magazine, Vol. 32, No. 5 and No. 6, 2007.

Images are in very good overall condition with some wear to corners and scuffs, album is loose and with detached covers
