Looks Like a Slice to Me, Al Apollo 14 Painting by John Platt
(1995, 13.5x17.5", professionally matted and framed to 21x25.5") Mixed Media. An attractive multicolor work depicting Apollo 14 flight Commander Alan Shepard hitting a golf ball on the lunar surface. The title is based on the comment made by his fellow moonwalker and Lunar Module Pilot, Ed Mitchell. Beautifully executed in great detail (note the lunar checklist of Shepard's left wrist) and a great addition to the collection of any golfer or space buff.
