English Chinoiserie Game Box, early 19th c.,
rectangular form with canted corners raised on four carved and applied paw feet. The fitted interior has four lidded boxes, two without lids, and six trays, all of which are Chinoiserie decorated. 5.25" x 15" x 12" Estimate: $400 - 600 Condition reportSome expected paint loss and chips. The lid interior has cracks to the lacquer. Two interior lids with cracks and one with a poorly repaired break. Several trays have chipped corners. Feet possibly later.
