English Salt Glazed Stoneware Covered Center Bowl,
19th c., rare large size, molded with flowers and laves, the lid having a large trumpet lily finial and numerous circular openings, suggesting the bowl may have held potpourri, applied branch and blossom handles. 12" x 15" x 12" Estimate: $800 - 1200 Condition reportLid is in very good condition. Bowl with hairline to each handle, chips to the tops of the leaves on the rim (only four are intact) and loss to two of the handles flowers, some separation of the handles at their point of attachment at the rim, hairline extending up from base 2.5".
