non-dug, two-piece, gilt brass, 15mm cuff size, "Schuyler. H & G. / N.Y" backmark with reversed "S". Ref: Tice NCS270As1 and Albert SU150Bv. HMA cuff buttons are considerably rarer than their scarce 19mm cousins. Most examples have been excavated, making this specimen highly desirable. Estimate: $400 - 600 Condition reportDeep natural brass patina with traces of original gilt in recesses. Shank present with very slight tilt.
