Two Pictorial Needlework Samplers with Dogs,
both 19th c., the first of a spaniel resting comfortably on a cushion, octagonal mat form with border, wool; in faux grain painted frame, (SS 8" x 12.5"; DOA 12.75" x 16.5"). The second of a spaniel, on red wool ground, (SS 6" x 8.5"; DOA 8.5" x 11.5"), housed in a wooden frame.
From a private 30 year Americana collection.
