Two Miniature Portraits, 19th c.,
probably English, the first, a watercolor on paper, profile of woman wearing a blue dress with white fichu and day cap, inscribed, "Miss Crane 1844," housed in wooden frame, (SS 4.5" x 3.75"; DOA 6.25" x 5.25"). The second, a watercolor on paper, a young man in brown vest and jacket, (SS 2.75" x 2.5"; DOA 6" x 5"). Very minor staining to left side of gentleman. In ebonized molded frame.
From a private 30 year Americana collection.
