Two Charming Miniature Portraits of Children,
19th c., the first, a watercolor on paper, of two young sisters posed in fancy dresses with Chinese white highlights, (SS 6.5" x 7.25"; DOA 9.5" x 10.25"), housed in a walnut frame. The second, a watercolor on paper of a young child with short brown hair, (SS 7" x 5"; DOA 11.5" x 9.5"), housed in gilt frame with earlier adhesive to border not visible in frame.
From a private 30 year Americana collection.
