Five North Carolina Etchings by Louis Orr,
all are etchings on wove paper, all signed and titled in pencil along the lower margin, the plates included are as follows: "St. John-in-the-Wilderness, Flat Rock, North Carolina;" "Birthplace of Andrew Johnson (17th President of U.S.A.), Raleigh, North Carolina;" "General Lillington's House, Wilmington, North Carolina;" "The Old Court House, Salisbury;" and " 'Grand Father Mountain, near Linville, North Carolina (Blue Ridge Mountains);" all are unframed. Plate Sizes: each approximately 8 1/8" x 10" to 10 1/8" x 8".

Estimate: $200 - 400

All in very fine condition - nice, strong impressions. Each etching with one or two small spots to the margins, the Salisbury etching with two small light spots in the image along the top right plate mark.
