French Watch Chatelaine, early 19th c.,
2nd standard silver, the plaques and chains relief decorated with gold plated intertwined lion heads and scrolls. All parts appear to be original (except later pin / chain soldered to the hook) with watch case, fob, and key of conforming design. The working watch probably of Swiss make and later date. An early example of fine quality chatelaine craftsmanship. 109g. 6.5"
