Two Antique Tortoise Shell & Silver Vanity Boxes,
the first a heart shaped tortoise shell box with scalloped silver bands and bottom bearing Birmingham (1897) hallmarks and a rubbed sponsor's mark, gold wash to bottom of interior, (2.25" x 3.75" x 3.25"). The second a circular silver box raised on three trifid feet, the hinged cover with inset tortoise shell with applied silver cartouche, bearing London (1913) hallmarks and rubbed sponsor's mark, (1.25" x 2 1/8" dia.).

Estimate: $200 - 400

Some misshaping to feet of circular box, some very minimal scratching to both.
