Jacobean-style side chairs, oak in old surface, tall side rails with volute finials, solid paneled backs with carved scrolls surrounding a central diamond, solid seats with inset panel, stretcher base having a "sausage" turned front, all chairs with tight joinery and only a few minor scuffs, original paper label, "Kensington Furniture hand made New York." 40" x 18.75" x 17.5"; seat: 18"
