Two Baltimore Coin Silver Ladles, mid 19th c.,
the first a fiddle & thread bearing the touchmark "G. D. Clark" (Gabriel D. Clark, active 1830-1896) along with other touchmarks (appears to read "J. Brunner" and one illegible), script monogram engraved to handle "Joanna R. Ness" (5.80 troy ozs., 13.75"); the second a fine fiddle form with large bowl bearing the touchmark "P. B. Sadtler & Sons" (Philip Benjamin Sadtler, active 1800-1860), this ladle likely dates to ca. 1830-1860, monogram to terminus of handle (6.05 troy ozs., 13.5").
