Burk Uzzle (American, 1938),
gelatin silver print, "Romance of Chrome", contemporary, pencil-signed en verso, matted in Kuliche frame. A native Southerner, Uzzle became Life magazine's youngest contract photographer and traveled extensively throughout America and Europe. He is perhaps best known for his iconic 1969 image of Woodstock's blanket wrapped couple. SS: 13" x 10.25"; DOA: 20" x 16"
