BONE / IVORY NEEDLE CASES, LOT OF FOUR, heavily to moderately carved with various engravings, two smallest examples each with a bird, each with an unscrewable end cap. This item was legally imported into the United States. Elephant ivory. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2 5/8" to 3 7/8" long.
Provenance: Collection of Helen Z. Liveten.

Very good overall condition with some minor wear and minute nicks, moderately carved example with some normal hairlines and lacking stanhope.
