1914 5C PR68 PCGS.  Ex: Kontos Collection. The bright surfaces of this Superb Gem display a fresh, original appearance and some incredible, colorful, iridescence on both sides, each of which equally shows an array of pastel crimson-rose and ice-blue patina. A well executed strike delivers strong definition to the design elements, and both faces have broad, complete borders, and have been immaculately cared for. NGC and PCGS have each graded nine pieces in PR68, with none finer (10/08). One would be hard pressed to find any fault with this naturally toned, carbon-free specimen.
