American actor, academy award winner. Best known for playing Vito Corleone in "The Godfather" Marlon Brando also stared in "Guys and Dolls," "A Streetcar Named Desire," and "Mutiny on the Bounty. Marlon Brando's, Saks Fifth Avenue dark blue tie. Staying true to his rebellious nature, Brando gave this tie to his personal assistant, Alice Marcheck, after deciding that he would no longer wear ties. Lot includes an original 1965, The Sun paper showing Brando wearing the dark blue tie, plus a letter of provenance from his assistant Ms. Marcheck. In great condition.
