Condition/Details: Bound in pebbled blue cloth with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is one of the earliest and rarest books on the automobile. The work contains numerous illustrations, diagrams, and technical tables, and three appendixes: A) Summary of the Provisions of Parliament; B) Local Government Board Regulations; C) The Carriage of Petroleum; D) Taxes on Motor Carriages. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean, bright pages. The book measures approximately 5.25" x 7.25" and contains 200/iv/48/16 pages.
