Condition/Details: Bound in illustrated stiff wrappers, this antique volume is a scarce illustrated edition of this American patriotic song, that served as a de facto national anthem of the United States for much of the nineteenth century. The work is illustrated with color chromolithographic plates and black and white drawings of landscape scenes. Front cover presents color depictions of Niagara, the Catskills and Lake George; the reverse offers a view of Yosemite. Lyrics and score of the song are included. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean, bright pages. The book measures approximately 8" x 9" and contains 12 unnumbered pages.
