Condition/Details: Bound in green cloth with front cover forest image in black ink, this antique volume is a scarce account by the Scottish-born American naturalist of his Sierra Nevada travels in 1868. The work is illustrated with drawings "made by the author in 1869 and from Photographs by Herbert W. Gleason". The volume shows external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 6" x 8.25" and contains 354 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
