Condition/Details: Bound in leather with raised bands, this antique volume is a scarce edition of the Bible with bright hand-colored maps. The work also contains an index and "useful tables of scripture names, scripture geography, scripture chronology and scripture references including valuable harmonies of the scriptures by Rev. G. Townsend of Cambridge, England". A family register, found between Old and New Testaments, contains genealogical information regarding the Fairfield family of New York. The volume shows external age/wear. Hinges are weak with age-toned pages that show occasional foxing. Preliminary page and maps laid in. The book measures approximately 9" x 11" and contains 527/78/168/32 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $7.50
