This lot features a group of bound early fashion magazine compilations with hand-colored illustrations. As was a popular practice during the 1800's and early twentieth century, individual magazine issues were bound together in single hard-cover volumes. The compilations featured in this lot include the following issues:

- Arthur's Home Magazine edited by T. S. Arthur & Miss Virginia F. Townsend - Dated from January to June 1864- Volume XXIII
- Peterson's Magazine edited by NA - Dated from January to December 1865 including issues
