Condition/Details: Bound in blue cloth-backed spine with bright gilt embossing, this antique volume is a scarce collection of 47 engraved plates illustrating clock movement, chimes, callipering, dial work, Arnold's and Earnshaw's Chronometers, clock tools, compensation curbs, escapements, repeating watch, and various clock models. The volume shows light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with age-toned pages that show marginal moisture markings to bottom of text block. The book measures approximately 8.75" x 10.75" and contains unnumbered pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
