Condition/Details: Bound in stiff wrappers, this antique volume is a scarce canoeing guide whose purpose the author states "is to define the limits of canoe use in Maine by outlining the routes and discussing the seasonal variables that effect canoe travel." The work is illustrated with many photographs of Maine landscapes, animal life and canoeing, as well as several drawings of canoes. A map illustrating the canoe routes in map has been laid in. The volume shows very light external age/wear, and is solidly bound with clean pages. The book measures approximately 6" x 9" and contains 111 pages.
