Biographical Memoir of Daniel Boone, By Timothy Flint. Published by N. and G. Guilford and Co., 1833. Stereotyped by J. A. James, No. 1, Baker Street, Cincinnati. With full page illustrations. Flint's biography is credited with progressing the Boone legend to mythic proportions. Poor condition with surface of covers eroded, front and back cover detached but reattached with leather strips. Evidence of water damage, some foxing, and loss to edges of pages. One illustration with hole. 6 3/8" height x 4 1/4" width. Circa 1833.
