Federal paint decorated dressing table or pier table, attributed to New England. Single board top with serpentine ends over conforming case with drawer, original brass pull, square tapered legs. Pine and poplar; cream colored paint with black accents. Condition - drawer joints loose, top scrubbed, cracklure and scattered wear to paint in other areas, especially at corners, blue mark to front. Blacklighting does not indicate paint restoration. 32 1/2" height x 35 3/4" width x 17 3/4" depth. Early 19th Century.
