English Hepplewhite corner wash stand

Mahogany corner basin stand or washstand in the Hepplewhite taste. Dovetailed gallery, top with three cut-outs, low shelf with central frieze drawer flanked by two faux drawers, drawers with ebonized line inlay, outswept tapered legs connected by shaped stretcher. Mahogany and pine. Condition: part of central drawer knob broken off, some missing glue blocks, undertier with slight warpage. Minor shrinkage checks, veneer losses and abrasions, especially to feet. 41 1/2" height x 22" width x 16" depth. American or English, circa 1820.
