Six Nashville Tennessee Coin Silver Tablespoons or Serving Spoons. Down turned fiddle handles. Marked "Richmond and Flint" (Barton Richmond and F. P. Flint, working Nashville, Tenn., 1816-1823. For examples of the pair's work and marks, including a ladle with their mark used in the Hermitage by President Andrew Jackson, refer to "Tennessee Silversmiths", Benjamin Caldwell, p. 143-145). Worn monograms appear to read "TMC." Scattered small dents and pitting, two spoons with wear to ends of bowls, one with repaired shaft, one with repaired shaft and crimp to bowl. 8 1/4" length, 8.8 oz troy total weight.
