Bust by Thomas Thurlow (English, 1813-1899), marked on back, "T. Thurlow Sc 1868". Thurlow was a renowned English sculptor who created memorials in various churches in the Saxmundham, Suffolk area of England. He learned sculpting from his father, John Thurlow (b. 1784), who was a builder and stonemason. Excellent condition. 13 1/4" height x 8 1/2" width x 4 1/4" depth. Circa 1868.
