Watercolor painting depicting coastal scene, signed John Hare (John Cuthbert Hare, American, 1908-1978). Hare is known for his watercolors usually depicting seascapes, harbor scenes, boats and marine paintings. Most of his work can be associated to New England, specifically, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, where he spent the majority of his summers. Condition - overall very good condition, foxing spot to right middle margin area of watercolor. Framed - 19" height x 20 1/2" width. Sight - 9 3/8" height x 11 1/4" width. American, 20th century.
