Nathan Bedford Forrest (1821-1877) signed railroad bond with colored portrait print of Forrest. Colored engraving (6 3/8" height x 5 1/4" width) of Nathan Bedford Forrest(1821-1877) along with a Nathan Bedford Forrest signed railroad bond (8" height x 15 1/4" width) for $1000. Orange revenue stamp at center left side. Forrest was Confederate lieutenant general, 3rd Tennessee Cavalry during the Civil War and was considered one of the best Calvary officers during the war. After serving in war, Forrest became the President of Selma Memphis Railroad in the state of Alabama. Condition - Overall very good condition. Not examined out of frame.
