Leather-bound with gilt tooled lettering and marbled boards. D. Appleton & Co., New York, publishers. Condition: staining, wear and abrasions to covers, some foxing to interior pages. 12" x 9 1/2". Dated 1875 (Vol. 1) and 1876 (Vol. 2).
