 73. Exceedingly rare handwritten letter by director William Desmond Taylor. The one and one-half page letter is penned on 5 1/8 in. x 6 ¾ in. stationery, dated May 21, 1914 from "#218 North Carondelet St., Los Angeles, Calif."; written to "Geo. A. Wilson, Esq: The Slough Picture Hall Co. Ltd. Windsor Road, Slough Bucks England". Taylor pens (in full): "Dear Mr. Wilson, Thanks for your letter of the 21st of April. I am sorry to say I am at the moment out of pictures, but I am having some more printed and shall be glad to send you one, if you care for it, as soon as they are finished. I am enclosing the autographed card you asked for. Very truly yours, William D. Taylor." Comes with original transmittal envelope post marked May 22, 1914 addressed in Taylor's hand.
