114. Original Harry Potter art by Thomas Taylor for the back cover of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Original watercolor over pencil drawing for the dust jacket design for J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Thomas Taylor artwork for Albus Dumbledore used for the rear panel of the dust jacket for the original British edition. Executed in pencil and gouache on an 11 ¼ in. x 17 ½ in. leaf of sturdy artist illustration paper. Features the Hogwarts headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, with long, flowing white hair and beard, wearing brightly colored coat embellished with runic symbols, striking an ornate jeweled lighter. Signed in pencil by the artist in the top right corner, "Thomas Taylor 1999" and titled in the lower right corner "Albus Dumbledore".
