215. Edith Head costume design sketch (2) for Carol Burnett from The Carol Burnett Show. (CBS-TV, 1967-78) (1) Design sketch of Carol Burnett and Vicki Lawrence (both in green costumes) accomplished in pencil and water color on a 11 ½ in. x 9 in. leaf of artist illustration paper. Burnett's design states, "sketch #7, stewardess piece – 1 piece only" and Lawrence's design states, "Lawrence/older stewardess". Moderate soiling on recto and verso. (2) Design sketch states, "Carol plus two, #6, What's wrong with my brother? Stewardess, Jacket on sep. and signed Sprague". At the lower right bottom recto written in another hand "Carol Burnett – please matte with picture". Moderate soiling on recto and verso with wear at corners. $400 - $600
