282. Harve Bennett's personal autograph book. As one of the stars of the "Quiz Kids" radio show, Harve Bennett toured the nation from 1941-46, met and received autographs and notes from (among others): President Harry Truman, Henry Ford, Joe DiMaggio, Father Flanagan, Judy Garland, Bert Lahr, Lon Chaney, Jr., Nigel Bruce, Susan Hayward, Chico Marx, Spencer Tracy, Cecil B. DeMille, Sabu, George Raft, Lucille Ball, Cary Grant, Veronica Lake, Hoagy Carmichael, Tallulah Bankhead, Gene Kelly, Hedy Lamarr, Bing Crosby and many others, too numerous to list. Many are signed directly on the autograph album pages, while others are tipped into the album (including President James A Garfield's signature!). Some autographs exhibit toning and soiling from the ensuing years. Accompanied with Harve Bennett's "Quiz Kid" photo album documenting his travels with the popular radio show.
