 288. Indian soldier headdress worn in The Lives of a Bengal Lancer. (Paramount, 1935) The inner hat is a grey, quilted-cotton with four brass rivets, which is wrapped in layers of blue cotton to fashion a turban. The hatband and sash piece are one consecutive piece of dark blue and light blue cotton with a small white loop-stitch pattern throughout.
