![]() 326. Collection of 77 pages of original storyboard art of key scenes from The Incredible Shrinking Man. (Universal International, 1957) An extremely rare collection of original, hand-drawn, production-used, storyboards from the 1950's sci-fi classic The Incredible Shrinking Man. There were 200 storyboards created for the final production and this collection includes 77 of the best and most important storyboards including numbers "1" (the radioactive mist) and "200" (Scott walking through the window screen at the end of the film). As most of the storyboards include three panels each, this collection contains approximately 225 panels. This is the most comprehensive collection of storyboards from the film in existence, spanning from the beginning to the end of the film and includes the most noteworthy scenes with numerous panels covering Scott's shrinking, battling the family cat in the doll house, the battles with the spider in the basement, the hot water heater flood, and the existential ending. The storyboards also contain notations indicating how the special effects photography and camera angles would be handled. Accompanying the collection is the actual copy of the storyboards and production notes given to famed animal trainer, Frank Inn, who worked on the sequences involving the cat, which still contains the original paperclips indicating his relevant scenes. This is a rare opportunity to obtain a truly remarkable and scarce relic from this highly regarded film, widely considered as Jack Arnold's best. $20,000 - $30,000 ImagesClick on thumbnails to see larger images:
