436. Robert Patrick "T-1000" screen-used melting CHP head from Terminator 2: Judgment Day. (Carolco, 1991) This is the primary style-guide for the "soft, formed" look of the T-1000 following his morphing from one state of being (solid or liquid) to another. It is the stage before "full formed, no texture" which precedes the "full textured copy" state of being. It was screen-used for one foreground, out of focus shot of the T-1000 rising into frame after pouring into the helicopter. It is the actual chrome plated piece that was used to give ILM its reference for computer morphing and on set for lighting reference. Terminator 2: Judgment Day received the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 1992. Comes with a certificate of authenticity from Stan Winston Studio. $2,000 - $3,000
