Fr. 1136    $5    1870    GBN  An evenly circulated Fine from the first shipment to the bank, and one of very few known to be true Original Series notes without the charter number. I know it's splitting hairs, but these were a couple of years earlier than most of the notes. Excellent signatures of Mastin and Hooper, and only the most minor restoration, if any. One must remember the grading services don't always agree with our grades, but we are generally close.
