linocut printed in colours, signed in pencil, numbered 81/500, printed by Sebastian Carter at the Rampant Lion Press, on mould-made St Cuthbert's Mill, Wells, Somerset, paper, with full margins, in good, fresh condition, 220 x 265 mm.

***Originally commissioned in 1947 as an illustration for Signature (Curwen Press) it was reproduced as a lithograph. Bawden then produced this edition from the original lino block, even though the edition is 500 it is very scarce..
