GERMAN MUSICAL WOOD FIGURAL CLOCK. Hand carved and painted, the derby topped figure of a Bavarian man is key wound and set. Carried in his right arm is a cuckoo clock displaying the time. On his back are faces of clocks capping the movement. Lever operated, his head turns and he whistles a tune. Presently working. With keys. Height 14 in. on attached plinth.
Condition report81: Wear throughout consistent with age; minor paint loss at edges; some scuffing/ surface scratches throughout; face of held clock shows wear to numerals where winding key inserts-(see photo); worked when tested.
