AUTOMATON BELL TOWER LANTERN CLOCK, Swiss, 20th century. The square brass case is surmounted by a brass gazebo-like bell tower with automated figure pulling a cord that leads to the working bell above. Movement is a spring wound, time & strike type with watch escapement and no need for pendulum. Height 17 inches.
Condition report812: Working when tested; base approx. 6.25" x6.25"; purchased new in late 1970's.
