This example is also marked "A.C.", which are the initials of an assistant of Manship's, Angelo Columbo, who is documented to have helped Manship with this particular project. This series of birds was inspired by the Bronx Zoo commission, which was designed in 1926, but not installed until 1934.

Condition Report: Overall in very good conditon.  Some surface wear and oxidation in places.
