The Kansas City district ranks just behind St. Louis for rarity where stars are concerned with 21 total pieces enumerated in the census. This is the rarest of the three signature combinations to issue stars, with five known. This example is unmolested and nice for the grade, with an ink spot in the right margin the only fault. Only one piece is slightly better. The Vista Collection.
