Here is a $1 Educational that is a cut above the rest. In addition to the well earned grade of "66 PPQ", the low serial number 36 will make your set special. Double-digit numbers in the Educational Series are rarely offered anymore, especially those in the top CU grades. Only two two-digit CU examples of the $1 Educational have turned up in auction so far this decade. One of those, with serial #98, sold for $4,100 in 2004, $6,300 in 2006 and then nearly $9,800 in 2007. This lower number, in higher grade and in a better market for special notes should do much better.
