Military Requisition 33rd Infantry At Plattsburgh, NY May 7, 1815, War of 1812, Manuscript U.S. Army Military Requisition for the 33rd Infantry Regiment at Plattsburgh, New York, Choice Extremely Fine. This is an original, handwritten, 5.5" x 12.75" military requisition, listing clothing needed by Lieutenant James Banks' Company of the 33rd Infantry Regiment. According to the heading, this requisition is "for clothing due on the second year commencing one year from the dates of enlistments in the years of 1813 and 1814, and ending in May 1815." The location of the 87 men in this company is given as "Cantonment Plattsburgh." This document is in excellent condition, very lightly age toned, otherwise still bright and bold. A wonderful early U.S. Army document, quite presentable and suitable for framing and display. Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
