War of 1812 Provisions List for New York Infantry

1814 Provisions List for the New York 33rd Regiment, Choice Extremely Fine.
This 8" x 13" ledger records items requested by the 33rd New York Regiment, recorded by number of items of each type requested. The number of everyday items requested underlies just how poorly the troops were supplied during the conflict with Britain. The unit was commanded by Benjamin Dunn, and he signs boldly at the top right corner. The document has some light edge toning but is otherwise splendidly preserved.
