Civil War "Bounty" Receipt for Four Soldiers

April 13, 1864, Bounty Receipt for 4 Soldiers, Genesee County, NY, Choice Very Fine.
5.5" x 7.75", blue-lined paper. Torn from a larger sheet, this receipt acknowledges payment for four volunteers from the town of Oakfield, Genesee County: "Four Genesee County War Bonds... to procuring the following named volunteers who have been mustered into the service of the United States... Samuel Bowers, David Mienthews, William Faster, Owen Mayan." Signed by "Burt T. Havey," in Buffalo. Very lightly toned page, soiled along creases on verso. Recto is clear and clean, bottom edge is rough.
